Hello fellow book readers,
As suggested by some of you, I am reading the Glass Castle...I cannot put it down! It is going to be interesting to see how Jeannette Walls new book " Half Broke Horses" stacks up to this one.
Looking forward to our first meeting in January.

I'm starting the Glass Castle. Should have some holiday time next week to really get into it!--ag
I recently read The Passage. It is the first in a triology about a post apocolyptic world after a "vampire" virus turns people into blood sucking zombies. And it focuses on the different colonies of people who survive one hundred years after the virus outbreak. Definitely a departure from the Oprah bookclub books I normally read. (The movie rights to the book have already been purchased by Ridley Scott aka director of Aliens!! Scary)
Sounds pretty interesting! I am not much into vampires but I think I might have to read this one!
